Trapped Chilean miners tell wives, girlfriends to shop for sexy lingerie

LONDON - As rescue of the 33 Chilean miners, who have been trapped below ground draws near, the men have only one request to make of their wives and girlfriends - shop for sexy underwear.
The men have been trapped 700 metres below ground since August 5, and rescue works have been taking place to get them out.
“He’s told me to buy a baby-doll negligee so I’m going to. It seems we are more in love every day,” the Sun quoted Cristina Nunez, whose boyfriend Claudio Yanez proposed in a letter, as saying.
Jessica Salgado promised to treat hubby Alex Vega with black lingerie.
And Jessica Yanez, whose partner Esteban Rojas has vowed to marry her, has bought a wedding dress.
“I’ve bought new sheets and painted the bedroom, the rest of it will come naturally,” she added.
If engineers decide they do not need to line the escape shaft, the first men could be lifted out on October 10. (ANI)
