A matrimony website for defence personnel

NEW DELHI - An online matrimony service exclusively for defence personnel will be launched by an internet company here Thursday.

Called DefenceMatrimony (www.defencematrimony.com), the dedicated site is being launched by internet firm Consim Info Pvt Ltd as part of its CommunityMatrimony.com to provide online matrimony services to the army, air force and navy personnel.

“The new matrimony service will be addressing the needs of the defence personnel who do not have the time or the opportunity to search and meet potential partners through the usual channels,” said a spokesperson of the website.

The website also offers matrimony services to war widows and widowers and defence personnel who are physically challenged. Besides, the site contains profiles of defence officers and their children and information on those below officer rank as well.
