Onam Offer By Air India

KERALA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Onam Festival will be celebrated in Kerala and various other parts of south India tomorrow with much enthusiasm. The companies are giving various offers and schemes to the customers on this festive occasion. Apart from the various eating outlets Air India is also offering a special menu for the fliers on the occasion. Aby George the Air India PRO Kerala said that the fliers taking flight from Kerala will be served an onam special lunch named Onasadya. This is a great opportunity for the foodies who will be taking their flights from Kerala.
Air India has said that the Onam special menu will be given to the fliers from Aug 22 to 24th. The airline has prepared the special menu in collaboration with Cochin’s Casino Air Caterers. The menu will comprise of authentic and traditional south Indian delicacies like Paal payasam, Sarkaravaratty, Inchi curry, Pachadi, Sambar, Avial and mango pickle. Air India has a tradition of offering Onasadya in its flights during the harvest festival for the previous two decades and it has been well received by its loyal customers.
The Onam special menu was presented on Friday where the top Air India officials were also present. Those who are willing to get a taste of authentic sot Indian dishes in flight should not miss the offer. The dishes will be presented with appropriate garnishing and decorations. The Air India management has ensured that the food is served fresh to the fliers. Onam started as a religious festival but with time it became more of a secular harvest festival.
