Dallas police chase ends at airport runway

DALLAS — Police have stopped a carjacking suspect just off a runway at Dallas Love Field after a chase through city streets.

Police say they pursued a driver Thursday after a pickup truck was taken in a carjacking.

Southwest Airlines spokesman Brad Hawkins says the runway was temporarily closed because of the incident.
