BP says ‘no final decision’ on replacing Hayward

LONDON — BP says that “no final decision” has been made about possible management changes, which apparently include reports that Chief Executive Tony Hayward is on the way out.

In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, BP said Monday that no final decision has been made about potential changes to management and the charge for costs related to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

BP said its board would meet Monday evening, a day before the company announces results for the second quarter.
