Tech consulting firm SRA International buys Sentech, expanding into energy and the environment

SRA International buys Sentech

FAIRFAX, Va. — Technology and consulting company SRA International Inc. said Monday it has acquired Sentech Inc., expanding its expertise in environmental and energy issues.

Sentech, based in Bethesda, Md., helps plan and execute clean energy and efficiency projects.

SRA did not say how much it is paying for Sentech, but expects the company to add $30 million to its annual revenue in 2011.

SRA shares rose 7 cents to $20.24 in afternoon trading Monday.
