Honda June sales up year-over-year on sales of Accords, Civics

June Auto Sales: Honda
TORRANCE, Calif. — Honda’s U.S. division says its June sales rose 6.2 percent from a year earlier.
American Honda was helped by higher sales of its stalwart Accord and Civic cars, as well as improvement in its Pilot and CR-V SUVs.
BY THE NUMBERS: Honda sold 106,627 vehicles in June 2010.
TOP SELLER: The Accord. Honda sold 26,792 of the sedans.
HOT MODEL: Sales of the Civic compact rose 26 percent, with 26,474 sold.
