Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Shows It’s Mausoleum

SLEEPY HOLLOW (GaeaTimes. com)- On Saturday, Sleepy Hollow cemetery welcomed the general mass in an open house at the Sleepy Hollow community where it showed it’s Mausoleum to one and all. There were several crypts out of which many were blank and were covered in white marble.

Howard Cohen who happens to be the sales and marketing manager for Sleepy Hollow cemetery told the media that it often happens that people pay visit to the cemetery to look for a place on “pre-availability” basis. They want to make sure that they can have a place to rest after their death and even book their places in the cemetery in advance. The Mausoleum which was built a year ago is capable of accommodating 1,150 crypts. The Sleepy Hollow community Mausoleum has polished marble on the outside while it’s tan on the inside to fit in the coffins. All those who are cremated in the Sleepy Hollow cemetery are all placed in between dark red marbles which also has white streaks in between. Howard Cohen said that many people wish to get buried at the Sleepy Hollow cemetery owing to the fact that the ground holds the graves of many eminent people of the country.

As a matter of fact the Mausoleum was built in the last year which marked the 150th anniversary of the Sleepy Hollow cemetery. The sales manager said that many people of Sleepy Hollow have already booked their resting grounds in advance fearing that they might not get a good burial place after their death. Howard Cohen exclaimed that booking one’s resting ground might sound a little strange but when people approach him, he can read the anxiety in their eyes.
