Arms and ammunition seized in Poonch

POONCH - Security personnel recovered a huge cache of arms and explosives from a militant hideout in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District on Tuesday In a joint operation, paramilitary and state police personnel recovered the arms from the Mandi sector of the district.

“We launched a joint operation of the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the police force. Subsequently, we were successful in busting the hideout,” said Manmohan Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police.

Six AK-47 rifles, pistols, satellite phones, AK magazines and some documents were recovered from the site. (ANI)
