German Shepherd Dog

TOMS RIVER (GaeaTimes.com)- Maximus, a German Shepherd dog has finally retired from its duties along with his trainer police officer Ryan Maloney. Reportedly, both Ryan Maloney and the German Shepherd dog Maximus had been working together since 2003. That justifies the inseparable bond which the two shares between each other. In all probability, the German Shepherd dog shall soon turn into a pet back at the police officer’s house.

Ryan Maloney told the media that his German Shepherd dog Maximus is in it’s eighth year who had been trained by him to be a part of the K-9 unit of Toms River Police department. As a matter of fact the German Shepherd dog has a proud history of working as a K-9 dog. During its career, the German Shepherd dog was able to hit upon 100 narcotic cases, figured out the locations of missing children and helped the police to track down a rapist. It was due to a car accident where both the German Shepherd dog and the police officer were injured way back in 2008 which made the department cut short the duties of the officer and his dog.

Ryan Maloney said how he entrusted Maximus each and every time on any investigation. He even underlined that he just couldn’t be sure if his fellow officers left out any clue while searching a building in due course of any investigation. If Maximus went inside then there was no need for anyone to run a second check on the case. In his opinion, the German Shepherd dog has done total justice to his name “Maximus” which is inspired by the movie “Gladiator”. As long as he lives, Ryan Maloney feels that there isn’t any force which could separate him from his German Shepherd dog.
