Kyron Horman Still Missing

MULTNOMAH, OREGON (GaeaTimes.com)- The police are still hot on the search for Kyron Horman, the seven year old elementary school student who went missing last Friday after he was dropped off to school by his stepmother. The boy was lats seen by his stepmother after she left him at school, walking down the corridor that led to his classroom. The school authorities reported that they had last seen him in the science fair that he was due to attend. They confirmed that he had not returned to he classroom after attending the science fair. The parents of the child realized something was amiss when he did not return n the school bus on the scheduled time, around 3:30. A brief initial search was conducted by the family, following which the Sheriff’s office was intimated.

The Multnomah Sheriff’s office commented that the process had started late due to the fact that they had been informed very late of the disappearance of Kyron Horman. However, since, the Sheriff’s office had upgraded the case under the jurisdiction of the Major Crimes Team, a step that has enabled them to enlist the help of the Portland Police Bureau, the Oregon State Patrol, the Gresham Police Department and the Fairview Police Department. Besides, they have also enlisted the help of the National Guard and the FBI.

Kyron Horman is being searched all over Portland. The police have also included in their search helping hands the Mountain Rescue, the Yamhill County Canine, the Portland air unit and the Multnomah County Search and Rescue team. The search is being conducted through the night, all over Portland and the 20 miles of roadway and two square miles.
