LONDON - Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin is said to have erected a 4m (13ft) fence in a bid to prevent her new neighbour Joe McGinniss, who is writing an expose about her, from prying.
McGinniss, 67, who is an investigative journalist and author, has signed a lease on the property next to the Palins with the intention of getting “as close as possible” to his subject.
His book, ‘Sarah Palin’s Year of Living Dangerously’ is due out next year.
Palin, 46, had commented on her new neighbour on social networking site Facebook, where she welcomed him in a post.
“Here he is, about 15 feet away. . . overlooking my children’s play area and my kitchen window,” Times Online quoted her as stating.
“Knowing his many other scathing pieces of ‘journalism’ . . . we’re sure to have a doozy [something exceptionally fine] to look forward to with this treasure he’s penning.
“Wonder what kind of material he’ll gather while overlooking [her daughter] Piper’s bedroom, my little garden, and the family’s swimming hole?” she had stated. (ANI)
