Wife: Beau Biden will be back to full speed soon

WILMINGTON, Del. — Beau Biden’s wife has sent a message to supporters saying he will soon be back up and running at full speed.

Hallie Biden sent the message to the Delaware attorney general’s campaign supporters Thursday morning.

She says Beau Biden, the vice president’s son, will remain in the hospital for a little while but is ready to get back home.

She joked that she believes he is working with their young children to plan an escape route from the Philadelphia hospital where he was taken Tuesday after suffering a mild stroke.
