Documents found at NYC bomb suspect’s home

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — An expired Pakistani passport, immigration papers and other personal documents have been found outside the former Shelton home of the Times Square bomb suspect.

The Connecticut Post and The New York Times reported Tuesday that their reporters found Faisal Shahzad’s (FY’-sul shah-ZAHD’) tax records, college transcripts, timecards from a 2001 temporary accounting job and other documents.

They were found outside Shahzad’s former home in Shelton, where he lived until it went into foreclosure. The Times reported that the items were in the trash.

Shahzad has most recently lived in Bridgeport.

Investigators have not said whether they have reviewed the documents or contacted the newspapers about them.
