Two ‘Indian spies’ arrested in Pakistan

PESHAWAR - Two men described as Indian spies have been arrested in northwestern Pakistan, a media report Monday said.

The two men, named as Nasir Khan, son of Munawar Khan and Ayaz Ahmed Ansari, son of Hafizullah Ansari, are residents of India’s Gujarat state, Online news agency reported.

They were arrested in Chitral town when the taxi they were travelling in was stopped for a routine police check. The taxi driver was also arrested.

The two men were later flown to Peshawar in a helicopter for questioning.

Quoting sources, Online said the two men did not have any visas along with their identity testimonials and the law enforcement agencies were investigating how they reached Chitral.
