GAYA - Heavily armed Maoists attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) base camp in Bihar’s Gaya District on Friday night.

No casualties were, however, reported in the exchange of gunfire between the CRPF personnel and the rebels.

It has been reported that the Maoists triggered this attack fearing that the security forces were planning to conduct a raid on their hideouts.

The Maoists in another incident torched a tractor in Gaya district’s Aanti Police station.

There are reports that the security forces are leaving no stones unturned in getting hold of the rebels and have launched an extensive search operation in the area. (ANI)
