ISLAMABAD (GaeaTimes.com)- Fatima Bhutto, the spirited niece of late Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan is ready to reveal the inside tales of the ill fated Bhutto Dynasty through her book named ‘Songs of Blood and Sword’, but she is not getting the adequate cooperation, as she claims. She is yet to receive a visa to visit India for a tour of her book. She wrote about being denied a tour visa in her Twitter account recently. The book has received encouraging reviews so far by the reviewers. The spirited girl has also launched her own site.
She had to battle with the fake online identities who assumed to be her and she won the battle in the end. She is quite critical about the present President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari. While some people have accused her of exposing the inside details of the family, she remains undeterred. After her father was shot dead under mysterious circumstances, Fatima Bhutto’s relations with her aunt Benazir Bhutto soured though they used to be quite close earlier. She holds her aunt and her husband morally responsible for her father’s death. She does not care too much about the conservative norms meant for women in Pakistan. However, she wears veils only in funerals.
After her father’s death 14 years have passed, but Fatima Bhutto still lives with that horrid memory. She is seeking justice by publishing ‘Songs of Blood and Sword’ which she thinks is more than a memoir. She was a favorite of her father and while talking about him, she still becomes tearful.
