HAJIPUR - A group of students resorted to violence when invigilators overseeing higher secondary school examinations at Bihar’s Hajipur District caught them cheating.

They attacked teaching staff and damaged school property.

Speaking to the media persons, S N Sinha, Principal of R N College said that the staff members raised hue and cry but none of the police personnel present on the spot came forth to save them.

He charged the concerned authorities of remaining mute spectators to the incident.

“The police personnel and others were standing as mute spectators. The staff and teachers were helpless as nobody came to our rescue or to protect us. They did not take any action,” lamented Sinha. (ANI)
