New Mexico crews looking for missing snowboarder
SANTA FE, N.M. — New Mexico rescue crews are searching the mountains around the Santa Fe ski area after a snowboarder failed to return to the base when the area closed.
State police say the search began about 5 p.m. Thursday when the missing man never returned to his car.
Lt. Eric Garcia says officials are using aircraft, snowmobiles and four teams of dogs.
The missing man hasn’t been identified. He was last seen with a group of snowboarders at the top of some trails.
