Correction: Bunning-Hardball story
FRANKFORT, Ky. — In a story March 2 about Sen. Jim Bunning, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Bunning was the first pitcher to record 100 wins and 1,000 strikeouts in the American and National Leagues. Bunning was the second pitcher to do so, according to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Cy Young was first.
