Hit TV musical GLEE has been given the presidential seal of approval - the cast has reportedly been asked to perform at the White House for U.S. President BARACK OBAMA.

First Lady Michelle Obama is said to have invited the stars of the series to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on 5 April (10), after learning the couple’s two daughters are big fans of the programme.

TV bosses have rejigged the show’s production schedule in a bid to accommodate the request, according to Entertainment Weekly.
