Correction: Biden-Stimulus story

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. — In a Feb. 16 story about Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Michigan, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Biden said the U.S. would lead the world economically throughout the 21st Century. An AP transcription of Biden’s remarks at Delta College showed that he actually said “20th Century.” The vice president’s correct quote was: “I refuse — I absolutely, literally, not a joke — I refuse to accept the notion that the United States of America is not going to lead the world economically throughout the 20th Century.”
