Hillary Clinton heading to New York from Washington to be with hospitalized husband

Hillary Clinton leaves Washington for New York
WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has left Washington and headed to New York to be with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who was hospitalized after feeling chest pains.
But aides to Mrs. Clinton said she still plans to go ahead with a previously scheduled trip to the Persian Gulf. The trip was to begin Friday afternoon, but now she is planning to leave Saturday so that she doesn’t have to rush back to Washington.
Aides to Clinton said Thursday she left the capital shortly after meeting President Barack Obama at the White House ahead of her planned trip to Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The aides would speak only on condition of anonymity to discuss matters concerning the former president’s health.
