Clark and Chin take lead in women’s 470

MIAMI — Amanda Clark and Sarah Chin took the lead in the women’s 470 class over a pair of French teams at the Rolex Miami OCR on Wednesday.

The American duo was fourth entering the day, but moved ahead of former leaders Ingrid Petitjean and Nadege Douroux as well as Camille Lecointre and Mathilde Geron, who were second after Wednesday’s third day of racing.

In light air on Biscayne Bay, defending champs Scott Whitman and Julie Dorsett won two more races in the paralympic SKUD-18 class.

Anna Tunnicliffe, the American who won an Olympic gold medal in the Laser Radial at the Beijing Olympics, finished tied for second in the Elliott six-meter class.
