Tibetans pray for longevity of Dalai Lama at Tsuglagkhang temple in Dharamshala

DHARAMSHALA - Several devotees and Tibetan monks offered prayers at Dharamsala town in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday (Jan.23) for the longevity of their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.
Organized under the aegis of Tibetan central administration, scores of Tibetans including many foreign tourists converged at the Tsuglagkhang Temple, as Buddhist religious rituals were performed for the well-being of their revered leader.
A high Tibetan Lama, Tsering Rinpoche, led the prayers
On this occasion, Dalai Lama was himself participated in the prayers along with the worshippers and followers.
Devotees said that they wished their spiritual leader continued to serve the entire humanity.
“This offering is…for his holiness to request him to stay longer and to stay further so that his…feet may remain with us for hundred of years and he may continue to serve entire world, entire humanity and Tibetan people,” said Tserab, a Tibetan youth. (ANI)
