Tetra Tech gets $200M FAA contract
PASADENA, Calif. — Engineering consulting firm Tetra Tech Inc. said Tuesday that it has been awarded a contract worth up to $200 million from the Federal Aviation Administration for work on navigation and other flight tools.
Under the contract, Tetra Tech will provide engineering and technical support for the FAA’s navigation, landing and lighting systems. It will also help the FAA implement plans for ground-based and space-based navigation systems.
The initial contract is for $70 million, but would grow to $200 million over seven years if all options are exercised.
Shares of Tetra Tech slipped 7 cents to $27.68 in late morning trading.
