Rajiv Chowk Metro restrictions for New Year eve

NEW DELHI - In view of security restrictions in Connaught Place area on New Year’s eve, entry to and exit from the Rajiv Chowk Metro station will be closed after 9 p.m.
The sale of tickets at Rajiv Chowk station will stop at 8.45 p.m. and shutters of all entry gates will be closed by 9 p.m, a Delhi Metro official said.
However, interchange facility between Line-2 (Central Secretariat- Jahangirpuri) and Line-3 (Dwarka Sec-9-Noida Sec-32) will remain operational till 11 p.m. No tokens for Rajiv Chowk Metro station will be issued from any station from 8 p.m., the official added.
