MUZAFFARABAD - The British parliament's Kashmir Committee Secretary General Richard Irwin Harrington has vowed to put the Kashmir issue at the top of the agenda list of the British Foreign Office.

MUZAFFARABAD - The All Party National Alliance (APNA) in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), has decided to observe October 22 as a 'Black Day' from next year onwards, in remembrance of the 1947 invasion by Pakistani army men disguised as tribesmen, which led to the division of the erstwhile princely state Kashmir.

MUZAFFARABAD - Some 35,000 people fled from the Kashmir valley in India during the 1990s to settle in Pakistan, which claimed to speak for the beleaguered Kashmiri people, but years later, many migrants, disenchanted with the dream of a welcoming Pakistan, want to return to Kashmir.

MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan - The top official in Pakistan-held Kashmir vowed Tuesday to fight India for control of the disputed territory in a speech to thousands of people assembled by a coalition of banned militant groups.

MUZAFFARABAD - Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Marvi Memon has attacked the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led coalition government for compromising on the Kashmir issue under US pressure.
