Barbara Bush Supports Gay Marriage

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Barbara Bush, the daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush seems to have joined her mother and also a number of officials of public administration by publicly speaking in support of gay marriage. Barbara Bush has appeared in the video of Human Rights Campaign where she has urged the citizens of New York state to support gay marriage. On the other hand, former First Lady Laura Bush also spoke in favor of the same sex marriage in one of her interviews in one of her previous interviews. However, after Barbara Bush’s video, her family members declined to comment anything about the matter.

The Human Rights Campaign’s video has spread on web like a wildfire and the netizens are now scrambling on web to see the whole video. In the much talked about video, Barbara Bush introduces herself and says that she supports marriage equality. The former First Daughter says that being a New Yorker, she supports “fairness and equality” and hence people should have right to marry the person they love. The vice president of Human Rights Campaign’s communication, Fred Sainz told a reputed media source that when the organization got an opportunity to take Barbara Bush, they immediately granted it. Fred Sainz said that Barbara Bush is an “effective spokesman” of the campaign and she has brought “dignity and poise” in the whole campaign.

Fred Sainz also added that Barbara Bush has spoken eloquently about the same sex marriage. Human Rights Campaign’s President Joe Solmonese told a reputed media source that the Americans have recently become supportive of gay marriage or the equal marriage. He also added that Barbara Bush’s this step towards equal marriage shows that there is no place of any party label in equality.
