National Buffalo Wing Festival

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- 43-year-old Alexandria, Virginia resident Sonya Thomas shocked the audiences present at the National Buffalo Wing Festival through a speed eating contest in which she gobbled down 189 chicken wings in just 12 minutes! The new speed eating champion created a record of sorts when she ate the large number of chicken wings within almost no time and registered triumph over the reigning champion Joey Chestnut who was able to gobble down only 169 wings which is quite less in comparison to Sonya Thomas's standard.
