Tibetans say allegations against Karmapa Lama baseless

DHARAMSALA - Tibetans have said the allegations levelled against 17th Karmapa Lama, Ogyen Trinley Dorje , are baseless.
A Member of Parliament of the Tibetan government-in-exile, Dawa Tsering, said people have full faith in him,
“This incident had definitely defamed him too much and is more like a baseless llegation. This is really very unfortunate. It defames His Holiness Karmapa and it has hurt the sentiments of Tibetan and Buddhists all over the world,” Tsering said
He has been accused of money laundering and illegal money transfer( Hawala).
The recognition of Karmapa Lama has been a subject of controversy, after the death of 16th Karmapa Lama.
“All the Buddhists and Tibetan Buddhists have faith and belief in him and there won’t be any change. That kind of belief and faith won’t be changed by claiming by anyone” he added” (ANI)
