NEW YORK - A man in the US, who streaked at a rally for President Barack Obama, has been sentenced to two years’ reporting probation.
Juan Rodriguez, 24, from Staten Island, was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and open lewdness after streaking at the October rally in Philadelphia, CBS New York reported.
Rodriguez had been trying to win a million-dollar prize offered by Internet billionaire Alki David when he ran naked before thousands in the city’s Germantown section.
According to the Philadelphia Daily News, a municipal judge sentenced Rodriguez to two years’ reporting probation to be served in New York.
Rodriguez said he picked Philadelphia because he thought the city would be more lenient on him.
Prosecutors had been seeking 3 to 23 months in jail. (ANI)
