Seven persons injured in remote-controlled bomb blast in Quetta

QUETTA - At least seven persons, including three policemen, were wounded in a bomb explosion in the Pakistani city of Quetta on Saturday.
The blast, which took place at a time when a police van was passing from Alamdar Road in Quetta, partially damaged the police van and some nearby buildings.
The bomb, which was planted in a car, was exploded with a remote-controlled device, SAMAA TV quoted DIG Investigation, as saying.
Rescue teams rushed to the blast site and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. Security agencies have cordoned off the area and started investigation into the terror attack.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties. (ANI)
