MELBOURNE - Although holidays are meant to leave you feeling refreshed and energised, a survey has found that almost 30 per cent Australians are struggling with post-holiday blues.
According to the survey by online travel company Expedia.com.au, many reported feeling tired, stressed following the Christmas break, reports News.com.au.
And Gen Y seems to be feeling under pressure the most with more Gen Y-ers reporting being stressed and tired compared with any other age group, the national poll of more than 1000 people found.
About a quarter of those stressed-out are planning a last-minute escape to recuperate, and it’s a tactic that’s more popular with women than men.
Almost three-quarters of women revealed they felt more motivated to work when they had a holiday to look forward to, compared with just over 60 per cent of men. (ANI)
