Kamat calls on Chidambaram after assuming charge as MoS (Home)

NEW DELHI - Gurudas Kamat, who assumed office as Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs called on Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram here on Thursday.
Kamat, who was Minister of State in the Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology, later had interaction with other senior officers of the home ministry.
He is an advocate and agriculturist by profession, and represents Mumbai northwest constituency in the Lok Sabha.
Kamat, who has an LLB and MBA degree, was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 1984. (ANI)
