Queen becomes great-grandmother for first time

LONDON - The Queen has become a great-grandmother for the first time at the age of 84 - the wife of her grandson Peter Phillips has given birth to a baby girl.
Buckingham Palace has said that the Queen and Prince Philip were ‘delighted’ with the birth of their first great-grandchild, who is 12th in line to the throne, reports the Sun.
Peter, the son of Princess Anne, was by wife Autumn’s side as she gave birth to the 8lbs 8oz baby at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital this week. The couple is yet to name their daughter.
The Queen is the first British monarch to become a great-grandparent since Queen Victoria more than a century ago. (ANI)
