David Miliband dismisses talk of move to Washington

LONDON - Former British foreign secretary David Miliband has quashed rumors of him becoming his country’s next ambassador to the United States.here have been suggestions that the South Shields MP may abandon domestic politics after being defeated by his brother, Ed, in the Labour leadership battle, the Guardian reports.
And, he is also said to be a close friend of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
However, posting on Twitter last night, he said he would not take the job even if the Tory-Lib Dem coalition offered it to him.
“Seen the UK ambassador to US rumors. I am not in for it and wouldn’t take it,” Miliband wrote. (ANI)
