UK bishop suggests ‘bring out our inner slob this Christmas’

LONDON - A bishop in UK has suggested that this Christmas people should do the one thing they never get the time to do - slob out.
Bishop of Chelmsford, Stephen Cottrell’s advice for people, “Nurture your inner slob,” reports the Daily Express.
“Instead of worrying so much about how you are going to spend your time, make a little space for wasting some of it by doing that rare and beautiful thing - nothing,” he said.
“People are losing jobs, services are cut, student fee rises, and more snow is forecast. It doesn’t always feel like the season of goodwill. So here’s a little upside down advice. Nurture your inner slob,” he said.
“Or put it another way - don’t just do something, sit there! Have a really peaceful, dare I say lazy, Christmas,” Cottrell added.
But Chelmsford resident Andrew Hardy said, “I’d love to slob out, but I can’t as I’m working as a security guard on Christmas Day.” (ANI)
