LONDON - The ex-girlfriend of The Crossbow Cannibal, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of three women, has revealed that he had boasted to her about becoming more infamous than the Yorkshire Ripper.
Amanda Judson, 45, revealed that Stephen Griffiths, 40, even pulled out a dictionary to explain to her the difference between famous and infamous as he made his chilling prediction.
Judson, who revealed how she escaped the killer’s clutches, said that he deserves to be hanged for murdering prostitutes Suzanne Blamires, Shelley Armitage and Susan Rushworth, and is convinced he has killed more.
“I feel lucky it wasn’t me he butchered. I’m positive he’s killed other women - he’s got the taste for it,” the Sun quoted her as saying.
“Stephen said he wanted to be bigger than the Yorkshire Ripper and planned this since he was a teenager.
“He was addicted to serial killers and said one day he would go down in history. By that I understood that he would one day do something awful.
“He’s sick in the head to have done what he did. But he said he would do it one day. He shouldn’t be alive - hang the bastard,” she added.
Judson had an 18-month relationship with Griffiths, but fled after he revealed he had been held at Rampton secure hospital for stabbing a security guard. (ANI)
