Oregon Experiences Unusual Tornado

AUMSVILLE (GaeaTimes.com)- An unusual tornado hit the small town of Aumsville, Oregon on Tuesday around the afternoon destroying quite some buildings and many vehicles but fortunately sparing human lives. The tornado was undoubtedly a shock to the Aumsville residents as tornados are not something with which they are familiar. According to reports around four to five buildings have been devastated due to the forces of this natural calamity.

Patti Etherington, Aumsville Police clerk, Oregon said that the buildings which were destroyed in the course of the latest natural phenomenon are in a very bad condition. The town of Aumsville is certainly in a mess and will take some time up to recover from the after effects of the giant storm that hit the western own of Oregon. The Aumsville police clerk further added that many huge trees and other plantations have gone uprooted as a result of this tornado. The power lines had also gone down. She added that as along as the crew members were repairing the lines, the electricity lines in the entire region had been kept off. A plumbing business center near the City Hall could not survive the natural attack and hence has been completely demolished.

It has been reported that the tornado rising from the storm and high winds had earlier struck Seahorse Oceanfront Motel in Lincoln City, Oregon. Many building have gone roofless as a result of the tornado. Aumsville Marion County Sheriff officials along with local police rushed to the help of the Aumsville residents. All Aumsville natives are highly shaken after this incident as this was something new for them.
