WELLINGTON - A New Zealand man and his American wife has won the title of the “world’s best couple”.

Auckland couple Cameron and Shariyah Morris was presented a 22-carat diamond ring worth 1 million dollars by US reality TV celebrity Kim Kardashian, in New York, reports Stuff.co.nz.

Thousands of couples from the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand competed for the ring via a series of online challenges. Members of the public were also encouraged to vote online for their favourite couple.

The panel of judges included New Zealand businessman Michael Hill and Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell.

Morris, 29, said his wife, 26, had been “itching” to get the 22-carat diamond ring onto her finger.

The couple’s challenges included designing a team outfit, planning an unforgettable date night, writing poetry, and cross-dressing on an outing to their favourite coffee shop. (ANI)
