ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Police have filed a case against US citizen Jonathan Banks, for allegedly being the CIA chief in Pakistan and controlling the drone attacks.
Acting on an application of Karim Khan, police received advice from the legal branch to file the case, the Daily Times reports.
Police had earlier advised Khan to get a court order to enable them to register a case against Banks.
Khan, a resident of Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan, had stated in his application that his brother, Asif Iqbal - a teacher in a secondary school, his son Zahinullah Khan - a guard at a girls’ school, and Khaliq Dar - a mason, had been killed on December 31, 2009 during a drone attack.
He alleged that Banks, who was residing at the US embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave, and having a business visa, was the CIA chief in Pakistan and allegedly controlling the drone attacks through the Global Positioning System. (ANI)
