LONDON - UB40 drummer Jimmy Brown’s daughter has launched UK’s first halal beauty shop.
Rose, 20, launched the store, which sells cosmetics free from alcohol and pig fat, in Birmingham after she found out the ingredients used in conventional products.
“Obviously, there are a lot of Muslims who will be interested, but I think the products will work for anyone who is concerned about what they’re putting on their bodies,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
“The halal certification gives you peace of mind,” she added. (ANI)
