RANSOM (GaeaTimes.com)- Tanya Shannon, an Illinois woman and mother of four children suddenly disappeared on Sunday night after her car crashed. Her husband Dale Shannon died on the spot as his back had been broken in the cash. After three days of search the police could got trace the missing woman though they have found out certain clue which say that she was alive after the crash.

LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton told the media outlets that Tanya Shannon and her husband went to a Christmas party of their company on Saturday night. However, they left the party and then headed to their family house and on their way back, owing to traffic related accident which claimed Dale Shannon’s life. Tom Templeton said that the evidences show that Tanya Shanon survived the crash and was able to get out of the vehicle and go to the roadway. The investigators found out footprints though they are still clueless where she went after that. Dale Shannon’s sister said that everything is mysterious till now and nobody knows what happened to Tanya Shannon. She also said that they checked the hospitals of the area as well and could not find any details.

Sergeant Jeff Whalen said that it is somewhat an weird situation where the police is still clueless about everything. The search team has found a shoe which might be Tanya Shannon’s. The rescue workers have even taken the help of metal detectors, helicopters as well. However, the law enforcement officials said that there might be a possibility that Tanya Shannon’s body might be buried in the snow. Tom Templeton said that her family told the police that she was a doting mother and used to love her children.
