WikiLeaks’ expose not worthwhile to be discussed in Assembly: Punjab Law Minister
By ANITuesday, December 7, 2010
LAHORE - It is not worthwhile to discuss the revelations made by whistle-blower website WikiLeaks, or to pass any resolution in this regard in the august forum of the Punjab Assembly, provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said.
Sanaullah made these remarks during the Assembly session on Monday after the Opposition Leader, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, strongly condemned the WikiLeaks expose that blamed Saudi Arabia for extending financial assistance to terrorist groups.
In another report, Sanaullah has raised serious concerns over Pakistan Army’s involvement in politics.
He has also demanded the abolishment of the political wing of Pakistan’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). (ANI)
