WASHINGTON - Prince Harry, known for having a heart of gold, will now have an award to prove it.
The third in line to the throne is honoured for his charity work with children.
He will receive the Golden Heart award on behalf of the German charity Ein Herz fur Kinder (Heart for Children) in Berlin on December 18, reports Usmagazine.com.
The prince is also expected to undertake a series of engagements around town the following day.
The 26-year-old prince is a patron of several charities, including Sentebale, WellChild, The Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, Dolen Cymru and MapAction.
And his soon-to-be sister-in-law Kate Middleton also made her post-engagement appearance at the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund carol service at St Lukes Church in London on December 1.
“Kate was very respectful of the service and didn’t speak to people during. She was effervescent, happy and, of course, in everyone’s gaze. But she handled it very well,” an onlooker said. (ANI)
