LOS ANGELES - Mexican law enforcement authorities have arrested a 14-year-old for killing his rivals.
Edgar Jimenez Lugo, a killer attached with a drug cartel in the city of Cuernavaca, is known to have beheaded some of his victims, the Los Angeles Times reports.
According to the paper, the much-rumored alleged young assassin nicknamed “El Ponchis” was captured late Thursday at the city’s airport with his 16-year-old sister as they were tried to catch a flight to Tijuana and flee the country to San Diego.
Lugo has admitted that he has been killing or working for drug cartels since he was 11.
The Mexican Army captured him after a month-long hunt.
Marco Antonio Adame, the governor of Morelos, said in a news conference that Jimenez was a U.S. citizen by virtue of his San Diego birth. (ANI)
