French President Nicolas Sarkozy, wife Carla Bruni visit Taj Mahal

AGRA - French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni visited Taj Mahal here on Saturday.
Earlier the couple had planned to visit Taj Mahal tomorrow for a look at the sunset from the monument.
Arriving from Bangalore, Sarkozy and Bruni spent 40 minutes at the Taj Mahal.
“I will pay tribute to this extraordinary civilisation embodied by the Taj Mahal - an unforgettable monument to eternity,” said Sarkozy.
During his four-day visit to India, Sarkozy is accompanied by his wife, seven of his key ministers and a business delegation.
Defence, nuclear power and sustainable development will dominate the agenda of talks between the Indian leaders and Sarkozy.
French President will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on various issues on Monday.
On Tuesday, Sarkozy will fly to Mumbai. (ANI)
