NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The cat and mouse game between the Indian and Pakistani Cyber Army has taken a new turn as India’s neighbor has hacked the CBI website. The Pakistani Cyber Army posted the message on the homepage of the Central Bureau of Investigation that the Indian hackers should stop doing the same with the Pakistani websites. The hacking of the official website of the CBI on Friday night has come as a real embarrassment for the CBI as it was considered to be one of the most secure websites.
The Pakistani Cyber Army said that it will also carry out ‘mass defacement’ of other important Indian websites. It looks like the hacking of the CBI website might not be a surprise for the intelligence agencies who have been warning the Indian government about the lack of cyber security in some of the strategically important websites. The Public Relations Officer of the CBI said in a statement that the organization was aware of the fact that official website had been hacked. He also added that an inquiry has been launched and measures are being taken to restore the site.
In the message by the Pakistani Cyber Army on the CBI website, the hackers have warned the Indian Cyber Army to stop hacking the Pakistani websites. They have also mocked at the cyber security of the Indian sites and said that they will continue to hack other sites if India does not stop. They have added that the Indian hackers should secure their own websites first and then think of attacking the Pakistani counterparts.
