Bristol Palin fires back after being named ‘the worst person in the world’

NEW YORK - Briston Palin has lashed out at Keith Olbermann after he called her ‘the worst person in the world’ on MSNBC for her position on abstinence.
Previously, Olbermann, the American political commentator and writer, tweeted that “Bristol Palin is contributing to teen pregnancies by this idiotic, never-works strategy of abstinence.”
The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ alum posted an eloquent letter to the MSNBC host on her page to defend her position as an abstinence advocate, despite having a baby as a teen.
“Accusing me of hypocrisy is by now, an old canard. What Mr. Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with insincere incredulity,” the New York Daily News quoted the post.
In her note, she compared her credibility as an abstinence spokeswoman with one of a recovering drug addict or former gang member who educates teenagers about risks.
“Mr. Olbermann fails to understand that in order to have credibility as a spokesperson, it sometimes takes a person who has made mistakes,” she wrote. (ANI)
